Welcome to PullRule, a service provided by PullRule, a company registered in the Netherlands (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PullRule web application (the “Service”). By using PullRule, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Overview

   PullRule is a SaaS platform that helps users score pull requests based on custom rules they define. We integrate with platforms like GitHub, Bitbucket, and Google to provide rich PR insights. The Service is accessible at https://pullrule.com.

2. Eligibility

   You must be at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use PullRule. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

   To use PullRule, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

   You may optionally upload profile pictures for your personal and organization accounts.

4. Free & Paid Plans

   PullRule offers both a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed via Stripe and renew automatically unless canceled. Prices, features, and billing frequency are displayed during signup and may change with notice.

   You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds are given for partial billing periods.

5. Data & Privacy

   We collect and process data such as:

   1. Pull request metadata from GitHub/Bitbucket (files, commits, messages, usernames)
   2. Profile photos you upload
   3. Authentication data from third-party providers (e.g., Google, GitHub)

   We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can learn how we handle data in our Privacy Policy.

   You retain full ownership of your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, copy, and process your data solely to provide the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

   You agree not to:

   1. Use PullRule for illegal or harmful activities
   2. Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the Service
   3. Upload content that is offensive, misleading, or violates the rights of others

   We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules.

7. Third-Party Services

   PullRule integrates with third-party services such as:

   1. GitHub
   2. Bitbucket
   3. Google

   Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms. PullRule is not responsible for their availability or performance.

8. Service Availability

   We strive to maintain high uptime, but PullRule is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

   To the maximum extent permitted by law, PullRule is not liable for:

   1. Any indirect or consequential damages
   2. Data loss or corruption
   3. Damages exceeding the amount paid to us in the past 12 months

10. Termination

    You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to terminate your access if you violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms occasionally. If material changes occur, we will notify you via email or within the app. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance.
